The company was established in the year 1975 under the name of "Sound General Trading Establishment“ (Sporting Goods Division) and in 1985 became an independent limited liability excellent grade company with an exclusive activity in trading sports goods and equipment under the name of Supa Sportsman LLC. The company has grown from being a small exclusive sports shop in Muscat to being the number one sports organization in the Sultanate of Oman.‘Supa Sportsman’ has maintained its position as a reliable, genuine and exclusive sporting goods organization.

‘Supa Sportsman’ has introduced many products into the Omani market which were not previously available and have now established themselves as being a household name in sports circles. It is the policy of the company not to simply collect agencies, but to give its represented products, genuine support in terms of creative marketing activities and after sales service.

Brand names such as Adidas, Life Fitness, Babolat, Yonex, Mikasa, Paramount, Body-Solid, Concept2 Rowing, LeMond Bikes, Pavigym flooring, Sartor Trophies, Polar, 2XU, Nathan etc. are marketed exclusively in Oman. The main showroom is housed in the building, which is also owned by the owners of Supa Sportsman.

For all the products represented by Supa Sportsman, these are marketed through different channels — outlets and brand stores owned by the company,sales team following up with different government and private clients, such as ministries and associations, sports clubs and corporate clients.

The company operates from its own headquarters which also serve as one of the main showrooms, selling multi-brands that is located in Ruwi, attracting many walk in customers as well. There is also an outlet in Al-Masa Mall for multi-brand products.The Company has three Adidas brand stores located at Muscat City Centre, Qurum City Centre and Muscat Grand Mall.

Supa Sportsman has designed and finalized layouts as well as supplied equipment for various prestigious gymnasiums in hotels, civil defense, military, clubs etc. Continuous maintenance is carried out for these equipment since installation and this has earned very high regard from clients and customers.
